Dr Georgia Halls
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, and the director and team lead for Willow Psychology service. Accessing psychological therapy can be daunting and overwhelming, with so many services, job titles and acronyms to understand. That’s why Willow Psychology Service was developed, to create a straightforward and human-centred approach to accessing psychological therapy.
We offer a free initial consultation to understand what you’re looking for, explain what we can offer and answer any questions you may have.
In having this initial consultation, rather than clicking buttons on online referral form, we have found that clients are more informed about what to expect and therefore feel less daunted and overwhelmed, whilst we understand how we can best support your needs and which psychologist(s) you’d be best suited to working with. This additional free service we provide means that our client experience, engagement and feedback is exceptional.
As team lead for Willow Psychology, I’m very proud of the team that we have. Our psychologists are greatly skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate and lovely human beings to work with. I place great emphasis on the wellbeing of our team and there are a number of strategies in place to support this. Having a team who themselves feel supported, listened to and cared for only benefits the clients and I believe it is shown in the high level of support and care that we provide our clients.
How We Work
As psychologists we naturally want to help and support others, but there are limits to what we can do individually. Therefore we have several charities that we sponsor on a monthly basis to support them to continue doing the amazing work that they do. On top of this, each team member nominates a charity of their choice to receive a donation for that month. This experience of contributing to charities that are close to our hearts contributes to the wellbeing of our team, but it is also important for our clients to know that a percentage of their fees are donated to charities such as those that support families affected by Alzheimer’s, legal support for refugees, and various animal charities.
